Based in Parkinson Queensland, and operating out of the largest of its kind, state of the art custom built warehouse, for over 30 years F & M Fabricators have worked hard to become the leading manufacturer of specialised roofing accessories in the country.

We are currently looking to add to our experienced and friendly team with a position available for a sheetmetal slitting line operator based in our state-of-the-art warehouse in Parkinson.

Your role:

  • Responsible for the operation of the slitting line
  • Basic math calculations
  • Use of measuring equipment to ensure accuracy
  • Maintaining a high quality of work with all fabrication products
  • Assisting other team members when required.
  • Following work health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Morning shift - 5.00am to 12.45pm Monday to Thursday and 5.00am to 12.00pm on Fridays.

About you:

  • Previous experience with machine operation within a manufacturing environment
  • Basic math understanding
  • Strong work ethic
  • A dedication to a high standard of output and accuracy.
  • Ability to work alone and part of a team
  • Work overtime when required.
  • Understanding and adherence to WH&S.
  • Manual handling experience.
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Honest, reliable, and punctual
  • Permission to work in Australia
