Downer is seeking an Office Manager to join our Transport & Infrastructure team based in our offices at Underdale, SA. Providing essential administrative support to two General Managers and broader project team, this role will also contribute to the smooth running of the day-to-day operations, team collaboration and facilities management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high level administrative support to General Managers and broader project team.
  • Manage diaries, travel arrangements, meeting logistics and expense reconciliation.
  • Coordinate office operations, facilities management and team engagement activities.
  • Support onboarding, document compliance and internal communications.
  • Assist with reporting, data entry and formatting project documentation.
  • Liaise between internal staff and external service providers.

About You

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or related field desirable.
  • Proven experience in high level administration, senior leadership support and facilities management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks and projects with the highest levels of professionalism, confidentiality and service.
  • A "Self-starter" mindset that takes initiative to continuously improve processes for ongoing effectiveness of the department and company.
  • Solutions-oriented approach to challenges with the ability to analyse issues, determine approach, and drive positive-change recommendations.
  • Aptitude for working in collaborative team environments with a focus on proactive communication, relationship building skills and resiliency.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and collaboration tools.
