AusHealth has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, results-driven Finance Officer to join our head office team in Underdale. This position is an opportunity to become a part of a national company that supports medical research, improving the health of all.

This role will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, Financial Accountant, and Finance Manager and will interact with a range of external stakeholders including customers, debtors, and banking personnel. Other aspects of the role include:

- Manage the timely and accurate preparation of debtor invoices.
- Receive, review, and process invoices from vendors, ensuring that they are accurate, properly authorized, and meet the company's guidelines for payment.
- Process, reconcile, and allocate all banking transactions.
- Maintain debtor master file records in ERP, and notify stakeholders of any changes that affect supplementary systems.
- Follow up on outstanding and overdue accounts and report in accordance with credit policy.
- Review and close all MYOB end-of-month payable and receivable transactions.
- Liaise with the Financial Accountant to ensure inventory items received are checked and entered into inventory records promptly.
- Assist with payroll preparation and processing.

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, working with ERP systems and payroll processing systems. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills are all qualities sought, as is the ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and be energetic.

Completion of an Accounting degree, certificate, or diploma is desirable.

Remuneration will be commensurate to knowledge and experience.
