Construction Manager Substation

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Our **Power Projects Team**is experiencing significant growth, creating an exciting opportunity for a hands-on **Construction Manager or an individual ready to step into this role**. You will initially be based at our **Underdale, SA office**and will work closely with our Project Teams during the early stages of the project cycle. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the site of major high-voltage (HV) substations and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects throughout South Australia.
- Some of the key responsibilities include: _
- Management and supervision of subcontractors, supervisors & field staff
- Leads the delivery team and ensures quality delivery of planning and scheduling according to project requirements.
- Ensure project documents are complete and to document control standards.
- Lead by example and continually promote relevant aspects of Zero Harm when engaging with operational teams.
- Contributes to the development of project strategy, business plan and budget.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Trade or tertiary qualified with an electrical/mechanical fitters’ licence and a certificate IV in Civil Supervision/WHS preferred.
- Experience with power transmission, substation projects, or large-scale civil and heavy industrial projects.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with key stakeholders up and downstream.
