We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Data Governance, Risk & Compliance team to focus ensuring data sets are compliant and identifying areas of risk and non compliance

Typical Responsibilities Include

  • Analyze and manipulate data sets to ensure integrity, security, and regulatory compliance
  • Review data streams, sources, and pipelines to identify vulnerabilities and risks
  • Document data use cases and governance frameworks across the enterprise
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to implement remediation strategies
  • Ensure engineering activities align with governance and compliance standards
  • Identify and assess data-related risks, privacy concerns, and compliance gaps
  • Produce clear, actionable reports and documentation for technical and business stakeholders

Key Selection Criteria

  • Proven experience in data analysis, governance, or compliance roles
  • Ability to demonstrate clear examples of focusing on data risk, compliance and remediation activities
  • Strong understanding of security governance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, GDPR, APRA)
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with data engineering workflows and tools
  • Hands on technical coding and modelling capabilities
