Our portfolio includes well-known names like Priceline and Priceline Pharmacy, as well as our medi-aesthetics brands, Clear Skincare Clinics and SILK Laser Clinics. In the digital space, we're proud to have SISU Health and InstantScripts—and most recently, we've launched our newest beauty retail brand, atomica.
About us:
What began in 1910 as a small co-operative of just three pharmacies has grown into Wesfarmers Health—a leading Australian organisation in health, beauty, and wellness.
Today, Wesfarmers Health proudly employs over 3,600 team members, all committed to delivering accessible, innovative, and trusted health and beauty services to Australians nationwide, across retail, medi-aesthetics, digital health, and wholesale and supply chain operations.
About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Data Governance Analyst to join our Data & Analytics/Data Governance team. Based at our Docklands Support Office, and reporting to the Data Governance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the data governance framework across the Wesfarmers Health businesses, ensuring adherence to data governance policies and standards, and promoting good data governance practices.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with the Wesfarmers data governance cohort to develop and optimise data governance standards, processes, and tools that ensure effective management of data throughout its lifecycle
- Support the implementation of the data quality framework, including defining critical data elements, applying quality rules, and coordinating remediation activities.
- Partner with project teams and the Data Governance Manager to conduct governance reviews for technology initiatives, embedding controls for data classification, access, usage, and sharing.
- Investigate, optimise, and implement data governance tools and processes to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
- Implement and operationalise processes aligned to the data governance suite of policies (e.g., data sharing, usage, access, retention), including creation of templates, registers, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor compliance with governance processes, assess performance of controls, and escalate material issues as required.
- Apply strong project management and delivery skills to ensure initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and with stakeholder engagement throughout.
What you'll bring:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field, preferably within health or retail industries.
- Experience with data governance tools (i.e. Purview, Alation)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others effectively.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders in a complex business environment.
- Ability to balance risk and compliance requirements with commercial objectives.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships and achieve objectives.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
- High attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Strong Excel skills.
Why us?
- Access to employee benefits across Wesfarmers including team member discounts at Bunnings, Kmart, Target, Officeworks, OnePass, Priceline and Clear Skincare Clinics.
- Ongoing professional development and career opportunities across the Wesfarmers Health Division and the broader Wesfarmers Group.
- Novated leasing options
- Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - available to all team members and their immediate family members, 24/7, 365 days a year
- Beautiful outdoor terrace for work and recreation.
- Food, coffee and health & wellbeing facilities onsite including a landlord operated gym
- Dedicated end of trip facilities (cycle racks, showers, lockers).
