Community Life Administration Officer

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Bass Coast Shire Council is seeking a Community Life Administration Officer to play a pivotal role in delivering two of Council's most significant strategies; the Healthy, Safe and Resilient Bass Coast Plan 2025–2029 and the Disability Action Plan 2025–2029.

You'll also provide support to the Central Registration and Enrolment Scheme (CRES), helping families access kindergarten programs with confidence and ease.

This is not a routine administrative role.

We're looking for someone who thrives in complexity, manages detail with precision, and sees beyond the desk to the bigger picture. Someone who anticipates needs, keeps projects moving, and takes pride in enabling strategies that strengthen health, inclusion, and resilience across Bass Coast.

What you'll be doing:

• Deliver professional administration support across the Community Life team
• Coordinate agendas, minutes, reporting and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders
• Support planning and logistics for events, workshops and community engagement activities
• Maintain accurate records, update digital platforms, and keep information current and accessible
• Provide responsive customer service and manage enquiries with professionalism

A BIT ABOUT YOU:

You are a confident and motivated administrator who wants more than routine office work. You bring strong organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a commitment to accuracy and quality.

You are also:

• Skilled at building strong working relationships across teams and with the community
• Professional in how you manage enquiries and provide customer service
• Focused on outcomes, not just process
• Proud of delivering administration to a high standard that helps important projects succeed
