Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for Administration Assistant to join our growing team on a part-time (0.6EFT) ongoing.

The Administration Assist will provide vital clerical and administrative support to our Community Mental Health Services team. This role is essential in supporting clinical teams who work with consumers across all age groups. You will assist with data processing, reception, and general administrative tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the services.

The role of the Administration Assistant is:

  • Provide reception support and act as the first point of contact for Mental Health team.
  • Process and manage CMI data, including registrations, discharges, closures and contacts.
  • Prepare documents for scanning and maintain accurate client records in the electronic medical record system.
  • Maintain and update client lists to support continuity of care.
  • Deliver high-quality administrative support to clinical teams across the service.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive and efficient workplace through adherence to LRH policies, procedures and values.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • Experience in administrative or clerical support, ideally within health, community services or education.
  • Strong computer skills across Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment, including after-hours and weekend shifts.
