Customer Service Officer – Reception

$34.43 an hour + super

Part Time – 2 shifts a week (between Monday – Friday)

You must be fully flexible to work various shift times will include: 7:00am – 3:00pm, 8:00am – 4:00pm, 9:00am – 5:00pm, 10:00am – 6:00pm, 12:00pm – 8:00pm

We're looking for a welcoming, professional and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our Reception team at Fiona Stanley Hospital. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, visitors and staff, delivering a positive experience from the moment they arrive. You'll play a vital role in creating a friendly and supportive environment while ensuring smooth access to hospital services.

As a Customer Service Officer (Reception), you'll make a positive impact by:

  • Greeting and assisting patients, visitors and staff at the hospital reception desks
  • Providing clear and courteous directions and information about hospital facilities and services
  • Managing visitor access and ensuring security requirements are met
  • Handling enquiries in person, over the phone and via email with professionalism and empathy
  • Supporting hospital operations by following established procedures and escalation processes
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Facility Management to provide an exceptional experience

To be successful in this role you'll have:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
  • A calm and professional approach during high-pressure or sensitive situations
  • Previous experience in a front desk, reception or customer-facing role
  • High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • A current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Desirable: experience in a healthcare, hospitality or call centre environment
