What are we looking for?

We're looking for full-time applicants available for rostered hours within 7.30AM to 6.30PM, Monday to Friday.

Whilst the team is primarily based on the Gold Coast, we would also consider applications from Brisbane-based candidates.

As a Collections Officer in our Varsity Lakesoffice, you'll join a vibrant, supportive team committed to managing complex accounts and finding positive outcomes through compliant and effective communication. The day-to-day

Here's what your day will look like:

  • Conduct outbound calls and respond to inbound enquiries to negotiate payments with confidence and care.
  • Manage a portfolio of overdue accounts from start to finish, providing tailored solutions and ensuring timely follow-up and action.
  • Utilise skip tracing techniques to locate customers and establish contact.
  • Handle third-party enquiries professionally.
  • Investigate and manage escalated accounts including hardship, disputes, and potential legal matters.
  • Maintain accurate records and use company software to manage customer cases.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and meet client expectations.
  • Contribute to team performance targets and a high-performing collections culture.

What do you need?

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in collections, credit control or debt recovery.
  • Strong background in outbound collections and skip tracing.
  • Confident managing sensitive or complex customer conversations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Familiar with relevant legislation including debt collection guidelines and privacy obligations.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation and time management.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to the wider team.
  • Positive, solutions-focused attitude.
