As a global franchising dessert café brand, we are playing a leading role in the dessert cafe industry of the great Sydney area.
We are currently seeking a full-time Chef for our busy business located in Chatswood Interchange, Chatswood NSW 2067.
Your duties will include:
- Prepare and present the customized food orders.
- Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
- Maintain a high standard and consistent quality in the daily food preparation.
- Keep abreast of the new products, recipes, and preparation techniques.
- Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastages, and cost control.
- Working on and with the hot and cold commercial kitchen equipment.
- Monitoring and controlling wastage, and portion control on a day-by-day basis Responsible for ensuring food safety and kitchen sanitation.
- Responsible for food ordering and kitchen maintenance.
- Organizing the food inventory and ordering supplies.
- Training new kitchen staff
Salary rates:
$77,000 - $80,000+Superannuation
Requirements of position:
- Diploma in Kitchen Management or at least 3 years equivalent work experiences as a chef
- At least two years relevant experiences as a chef
