Summary:

This is a part time role required to work ad hoc during work days. We are seeking an experienced Retail Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a retail store, providing excellent customer service, promoting products, and meeting sales targets. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and offer assistance with their shopping needs.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend products that meet their requirements.
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels and ensure products are available for sale.
  • Respond to customer queries and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit card payments.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and goals set by the store management.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and trends.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues with empathy and tact.
  • Assist in maintaining the store's visual merchandising standards.
  • Participate in store events and promotions to boost sales.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in retail sales or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused with a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Knowledge of sales principles and techniques.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Computer literate, including familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
