We are looking for a Head of Finance to lead and elevate AutoGrab's finance function bringing technical rigour, operational discipline, and people leadership while mentoring a team of Accountants and partnering with the CFO to scale international.

About the Role

As Head of Finance, you'll own financial control, reporting cadence, and process excellence, while leading the Finance team. This role suits a technically strong leader who is hands-on in the detail yet confident shaping strategy, coaching talent, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team, set clear objectives, coach for impact, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Own month-end close, reconciliations, management reporting, board packs, and statutory accounts; ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Own budgeting and rolling forecasts; deliver variance analysis, scenario modelling, and actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Build robust cash forecasting; optimise working capital, credit control, and processes.
  • Drive internal controls, standardise and automate processes, partner with Tech on finance systems, data quality, and integrations.
  • Manage audits and external advisors; ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax, and regulatory requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Support Sales, Product, and Operations with commercial analysis and investment cases; translate finance into clear business decisions.
  • Support and drive finance operations across all operating Regions aligning calendars, controls, and reporting standards.

About You

  • Technically strong finance leader (CA/CPA) with deep knowledge of accounting standards, financial control, and operational finance; able to switch between strategy and hands-on execution.
  • Proven people leader who can build, mentor, and scale a high-performing finance team and establishing clear performance rhythms.
  • Success operating in a SaaS tech scale-up (subscription/recurring revenue, multi-entity, rapid growth), including familiarity with ARR/MRR.
  • Track record improving month-end speed/quality, forecasting accuracy, cash discipline, and the control environment in high-growth settings.
  • Commercial acuity with the ability to convert financial insight into executive decisions and practical actions.
  • Cross-regional exposure highly regarded—experience supporting operations across the UK and Asia
  • Advanced systems mindset (ERP, BI, automation) and strong Excel/financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and change management in a fast-paced environment.
