Role Purpose

The Junior Business Development Manager will support the NSW Sales Team in expanding Répertoire Culinaire's market presence, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to sales and marketing initiatives. This entry-level role provides a pathway to becoming a fully-fledged Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and support sales and marketing activities in line with company objectives and under the guidance of senior management.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with major hotel groups, restaurants, hotels, and gourmet retailers in NSW.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships, ensuring repeat business and high levels of satisfaction.
  • Promote and represent Répertoire Culinaire's product portfolio through client visits, presentations, tastings, and trade events.
  • Assist with preparing sales forecasts, budgets, and reports, and provide performance analysis to management.
  • Support promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives, including trade fairs and launches.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends and provide recommendations to management.
  • Liaise with French headquarters when required, ensuring effective communication in both English and French.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, procurement, customer service, accounts) to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or hospitality.
  • Understanding of fine-food products and/or the hospitality industry desirable.
  • French language skills required to communicate with French headquarters when needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Current driver's licence and ability to travel locally within NSW.

What We Offer

  • Permanent full-time role based in Botany, Sydney.
  • Competitive salary package: $75,000 – $82,000 + superannuation.+ bonuses on performances
