About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager to join our Sydney Head Office team. This pivotal leadership role bridges creative vision and commercial delivery - managing the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to final production. You'll oversee global vendor relationships, drive supplier performance excellence, uphold brand quality standards, and deliver commercially successful collections that embody the Coco Republic DNA.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement global sourcing strategies to achieve business goals, product margin targets, and category growth plans.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard exceptional manufacturers and artisans across Asia, Europe, and Australia.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, lead times, MOQs, and freight terms while preserving quality and brand standards.
  • Lead product development across furniture, lighting, and homewares - from concept through to final sample approval.
  • Collaborate with internal Design, Visual Merchandising, and Buying teams to ensure creative vision meets manufacturing capability.
  • Oversee quality control processes, supplier scorecards, and corrective action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards across all source countries.

Who You Are

  • 10+ years' experience in global sourcing, product development, and vendor management - ideally in furniture, interiors, or lifestyle products.
  • Strong technical knowledge of furniture construction, upholstery, finishes, and materials.
  • Proven experience sourcing from Asia, Eastern Europe, and Australia.
  • Skilled negotiator with a track record of improving supplier performance via KPI-driven management.
  • Experienced in implementing quality control protocols and managing overseas QA inspectors or agencies.
  • Proficient in PLM, ERP, and sourcing tools (e.g. NetSuite, Airtable, Bamboo Rose).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
