Flood & Fire Emergency Network (FEN) is a well-known and respected restoration service provider, operating throughout Australia for over 15 years. FENprovides fast, efficient and cost-effective restoration following a water or fire event, mould rectification, sewage or effluent clean up, malicious damage, drug laboratory clean ups and the like.
Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Claims Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be managing claims in line with client and contractual requirements, whilst working in a supportive and collaborative team environment. We are looking for a motivated, driven and experienced building & restoration claims consultant to kick off their career with FEN.
Your new role involves:
- Managing claims from commencement to completion.
- Proactively manage claim portfolio, including highlighting at risk claims or stagnant claims
- Reviewing scope of works and costing prior to allocating jobs to techs or contractors to ensure allocation accuracy
- Prepare project progress update weekly for WIP meetings
- Scheduling and coordinating works required.
- Constructing detailed reports.
- Communicating with both internal and external stakeholders via phone and email.
- Multi-tasking to accommodate urgent requests and KPI timeframes.
- Ensuring purchase orders are raised prior to the commencement of trade services attending sites.
To successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in Insurance Claims Management or Scheduling
- Experience handling a large volume of Claims
- Exposure to disaster restoration (desired but not essential)
- Problem-solving skills.
- High sense of urgency and resilience
- Ability to manage completing demands to accommodate urgent requests and KPI timeframes.
- Work well in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail
- A strong sense of teamwork and proactive attitude
