NW Mining & Civil have an immediate vacancy for an experienced operator who has both excavator and grader skills & quals. This project should be finished by Christmas.

Based at a remote Cloncurry mine site, you will be part of a small roadworks crew. You will be mixing & conditioning road base on a 50t digger, and grading the road on a 160M grader using auto GPS. Experience in a similar role is essential.

Applicants from Cloncurry or Mt Isa are preferred, otherwise flights are available from Townsville only. You'll be staying at camp while on shift. Roster is 2/1 working 12hr days.

Pay rate is between $50-55/hr flat rate in line with experience.

Applicants who already have a medical including MMQ RHS fit slip will be highly regarded as you can commence work sooner.

Please ensure you meet the following mandatory criteria before applying:

  • Excavator RII and experience
  • Grader RII and experience
  • Construction card
  • Be able to obtain a clear police check
  • Current drivers licence, HR an advantage but Car is fine
  • Ability to pass a pre employment medical & D&A screening
  • Ability to complete mine site online inductions on a computer at home
