An exciting leadership opportunity is now available at Mountain Creek State High School for a dynamic and visionary Principal. This temporary full-time position runs from 22 January 2026 to 26 June 2026, unless otherwise determined. As Principal, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the Department's
strategic vision, driving improved educational outcomes, and fostering excellence in teaching and learning. You will lead a high-performing team and contribute to a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Lead with Vision: Inspire and unite the school community around a shared educational vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Model Ethical Leadership: Uphold the principalship as a values-based, ethical, and moral practice, embedding socially just principles in all aspects of school life.
- Drive Excellence: Set and maintain high standards for student achievement, staff performance, and overall school improvement.
- Foster Collaboration and Partnerships: Build strong, productive relationships with parents, community groups, industry, and other government agencies to enhance educational opportunities.
- Plan Strategically and Manage Effectively: Lead with a future-focused mindset, ensuring sound understanding of relevant legislation and effective management of resources to achieve school goals.
