We have multiple vacancies available:

1 x 38 hours per week permanent full-time

1 x 38 hours per week temporary full-time

1 x 15 hours per week temporary part-time

School cleaners play a vital role in the school community by reducing the spread of disease through high standards of cleaning practices and keeping the appearance of the school at a high standard. It is the responsibility of school cleaners to deliver a clean and hygienic learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities include:

  • General cleaning of classrooms, offices, toilets, sick bays, kitchens and shared spaces.
  • Cleaning windows, doors, glass, sinks, basins, taps and drinking fountains.
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, buffing and polishing floors.
  • Cobweb and mildew removal, graffiti removal and dusting furniture and equipment.
  • Rubbish disposal, litter control and cleaning of external surfaces.
