As we expand our impact across Australia, we're seeking a dynamic and organised Training Coordinator to join our Sydney-based team at Alexandria, NSW.
About the Role
As the Training Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of our training programs at the Sydney facility as well as coordinate trainers movement in regional and remote NSW. Working closely with trainers, students, industry partners and support services, you'll ensure training delivery runs smoothly, meets compliance standards, and supports participants to succeed.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate scheduling and logistics for training programs across multiple sectors including Civil Construction, Infrastructure, Safety, and Rail.

Liaise with trainers, assessors, and students to support high-quality delivery of training and support programs.

Manage enrolments, attendance, and training documentation in line with current RTO compliance.

Support student engagement, welfare, and retention strategies.
-
Communicate effectively with industry and community stakeholders.
-
Assist in compliance reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Selection criteria
To be successful in this role, you are expected to have the below skills and attributes, this will be used to guide selection to the next phase of the recruitment process.:

Previous experience in the VET/training sector or education coordination role.
-
Knowledge of RTO operations and compliance requirements (highly regarded).
-
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
-
Expertise in working with student management systems, and LMS
-
A genuine passion for empowering others and supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participation in training and employment.

Ability to work collaboratively in a culturally safe and diverse team environment.
-
Proficiency with student management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
-
Experience working with Aboriginal communities and organisations.
Preferred skills and attributes
The following are not must-have, but they will be highly regarded to guide selection to the next phase of the recruitment process.

Recent experience working in the construction industry, Rail industry, or high-risk work licenses

Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or willingness to obtain.

Understanding of smart and skilled subsidised training
