  • The opportunity to drive operational excellence at South Australia's largest independent stone supplier. Supervise the Operations, optimise daily logistics and support the selection studio team and contractors.

About the Role

The Operations Coordinator is the engine of our site-based operations—ensuring orders and logistics, run smoothly. You'll be the interface between Operations and the Design team as well as external suppliers and installers, while driving process improvements, cost-efficiency and compliance across OH&S, facilities, and staffing.

Key Duties will include:

  • Team & Rostering Management

Lead the Operations in staff rostering, leave coverage, onboarding, performance support and escalations.

  • Process Oversight

Champion operational systems: monitoring packing, scheduling despatch, Container unpacking and slab viewings. Streamline workflows via scheduling tools.

  • Safety & Compliance

Chair weekly safety toolbox meetings, enforce OH&S policy and track incidents and corrective actions. Receiving of shipping containers and other deliveries; receipting, unpacking, checking and storage.

  • Performance Reporting

Prepare daily/weekly KPIs (e.g. delivery on time, waste %), budget trackers, and present summary reports to the GM. Making sure all stock is put away in the right places and correctly labelled.

  • Continuous Improvement & Documentation

Analyse operational gaps, write and update standard operating procedures, steer project-based improvements. Assisting with stock control and monitoring stock re-order levels.

Skill and Experience

You will need to have

  • Minimum 3–5 years in operations, logistics or supply-chain coordination (industrial or project-based environment).
  • At least 1 year supervising people, including situational coaching and shift planning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and comfortable learning ERP, or scheduling systems.
  • Clear communicator, able to manage suppliers and deliver customer-facing staff training.
  • Practical knowledge of South Australian OH&S legislation and compliance systems
  • Australian work rights, clean driver's licence.
