We are excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled and proactive WHS/Return to Work specialist to join our growing organisation.
This part-time role hours per fortnight) is based in Noble Park and offering flexibility in how your hours are spread across the week.

South Eastern Private Hospital (SEPH) is a 203 bed licensed facility with a Rehabilitation, Medical/Oncology, Mental Health, Palliative Care and Dialysis focus. SEPH is conveniently located in Noble Park and has been serving the South-East community since it was established in 1971. About the Role
Reporting to the Hospital's Executive, you will co-ordinate our well established early intervention and return to work programs, while also managing the hospital's occupational, health and safety systems.
Occupational Health and Safety
- Conduct OHS risk assessments, workplace inspections, and safety audits
- Investigate incidents and coordinate corrective actions
- Maintain registers for hazards, incidents, and training
- Facilitate OHS training sessions, toolbox talks, and site safety meetings
- Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset
Injury Management & Return to Work
- Manage end-to-end workers compensation claims with accurate and timely documentation
- Develop tailored return to work plans based on medical advice and operational needs
- Act as the key contact for all workplace injuries, including non-work-related cases
- Support injured employees and coach managers on appropriate work adjustments
- Analyse claims trends to identify risks and drive continuous improvement
- Monitor excessive and long-term leave and assist with retention strategies
- Contribute to wellbeing and employee wellness initiatives

What we are looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS or equivalent (minimum Cert IV in Work Health and Safety)
- At least 3 years of experience in a WHS and/or RTW role
- Knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance, and best practice
- Experience with risk management, incident reporting, and safety systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and record-keeping systems
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach
- Current Drivers Licence
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
