Our professional services across the government and private sector include consulting, technical, scientific and project delivery with projects expanding across commercial and residential developments, tunnelling services, environmental assessments, water Infrastructure, instrumentation and monitoring, laboratory and earthwork testing, pavement design and testing, renewable resources, landslip and slope stability assessment and field geotechnical investigations and assessments.

The Role

We are looking for a skilled soil technician to support long term earthwork projects. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity ideal for someone enjoys field testing.

In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting field and laboratory soil testing using industry-standard equipment. The work involves hands-on tasks, adherence to quality control procedures, and the use of computer systems to record, analyse and validate results.

Additionally, this role involves maintaining equipment in good operating order and performing internal verifications of lab equipment as required.

Our customers also represent an important component of our service delivery and therefore maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders is another essential requirement of this role.

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following:

· Minimum 6 months' experience in field soil testing.

· Current radiation user licence.

· Hold drivers' licence and Construction White Card.

· Strong communication skills for interaction with clients and internal teams.

· Sound level of literacy, computer literacy and numeracy skills

· Strong attention to detail.

· Ability to analyse and solve problems using initiative.

· Valid work rights in Australia (unrestricted)
