The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Lilydale Hyundai, GWM & LDV as an Automotive Finance Consultant. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and securing suitable finance solutions for our valued clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their finance requirements and provide tailored finance solutions
  • Prepare finance proposals and complete application processes to secure the best financing options for customers
  • Maintain strong relationships with financial lenders and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Contribute to the achievement of department and dealership sales targets
  • Provide a high level of customer service throughout the finance process
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in the automotive finance industry and continuously develop your knowledge and skills

What we're looking for

  • Experience in an automotive finance or sales role, preferably within the car dealership setting would be most favourable, however for the right candidate who is hungry to learn & succeed, we are prepared to train them.
  • We want someone with the willingness to succeed, and hunger to make money
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities to secure the best finance deals for customers and the business alike
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and KPIs
  • A genuine passion for the automotive industry and providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills to manage the finance application process
  • A current Australian driver's licence
