Position Summary
Join our dynamic team as an HR Executive, where you'll play a pivotal role in bridging human resources and IT support within the Information Technology sector. Based in Perth, Australia, this permanent position requires 5 to 10 years of experience in HR or a related field, with a strong background in IT and Help Desk/User Support. Your key responsibilities will include managing employee onboarding and offboarding processes, providing IT support both in-person and virtually, and delivering training on software usage and IT policies. You'll also maintain on-premises IT infrastructure and manage IT systems for large organisations. With your effective communication, organisational prowess, and problem-solving skills, you'll ensure seamless operations and support for our team. About The Role

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure the right talent is acquired.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Provide IT support in person, over the phone, or virtually, and manage IT infrastructure for large organizations.

About the candidate

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in HR or a related field, with a strong background in the Information Technology sector.
  • Proven experience in Help Desk/User Support, showcasing the ability to provide IT support in person, over the phone, or virtually.
  • Demonstrated expertise in employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for new and departing employees.
  • Experience in provisioning training on software usage and IT policies, enhancing the technical proficiency of team members.
  • Capability to maintain on-premises IT infrastructure and devices, ensuring seamless operations and minimal downtime.
  • Experience in managing IT infrastructure for large organizations, demonstrating the ability to handle complex systems and networks.
  • Effective communication skills, enabling clear and concise interactions with team members and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ensuring efficient management of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, adept at identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in IT support tasks, ensuring high-quality service delivery and user satisfaction.
