In this role, you'll:

  • Join a small finance team within Transports Asset Management division working across an interesting diverse portfolio within Rail Assets.

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support revenue forecasting, long-term financial planning, and investment decisions.

  • Work with stakeholders to design and implement integrated pricing strategies that balance cost recovery, market conditions, regulatory compliance, and financial sustainability.

  • Provide financial and pricing insights to guide enterprise strategies, business plans, and investment proposals.

  • Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and support continuous improvement of pricing and revenue strategies.

  • Support asset modelling and lifecycle analysis to inform investment decisions and maximise asset value.

  • Translate complex financial modelling outputs into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders and executive decision-making.

  • Ensure integrity, documentation, and governance of financial models, adhering to internal standards and regulatory requirements.

About you

  • You have significant expertise in finance minimum of 10 years including ERP finance, financial modelling, and strategy development in asset-intensive industries such as infrastructure or government.

  • You have strong asset strategy experience and a deep understanding of cost recovery, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.

  • You hold a tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, or business.

  • You are analytical and detail-oriented, able to translate complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.Highly experienced with programs such as Excel, SAP and Power BI

  • You are adaptable, able to manage change and evolving market or operational conditions while maintaining focus on long-term business goals.

  • You thrive working in a team environment, you are flexible and agile and enjoy your skills and helping the team across other areas of finance
