The Role (Immediate Backfill)

As a
Level 3 Senior Project Cost Estimation Analyst
, you will:

1. Take ownership immediately
   of ongoing models and reports within GWEO — no ramp-up delay.
2. Revise and update existing cost models
   in CCT, ACEIT, or TruePlanning to reflect project changes.
3. Perform
   cost risk and uncertainty analysis
   , generating outputs that stand up to executive and ministerial review.
4. Provide
   cost assurance reports
   and peer reviews, validating APS-developed models.
5. Mentor APS staff
   , supporting uplift in cost modelling capability.
6. Engage with stakeholders quickly and effectively
   , ensuring continuity despite the backfill change.

Key Deliverables

• Rapidly assume responsibility for
  live cost models
  already in use by Defence
• Deliver updated cost briefs, risk analysis, and assurance notes under tight deadlines
• Provide immediate
  continuity
  for APS stakeholders relying on cost model outputs
• Present complex results clearly to senior Defence leaders and program managers
• Maintain mentoring of APS staff without interruption
