With almost 50 years of experience, Claude Outdoor specialises in long-term outdoor advertising solutions for SMEs, with a focus on providing proximity solutions that connect local businesses to their local communities. Claude Outdoor has an impressive portfolio of approximately 10,000 panels across each state of Australia, with outdoor formats including Billboards, IdentiLites, Bus Shelters and Airport media.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Junior Graphic Designer at Claude Outdoor Pty Ltd. The Junior Graphic Designer will assist with client artwork creation and inspiration for booked advertising campaigns. The role is based on-site in our fun, vibrant and pet-friendly office at St Leonards, with public transport (buses, trains, and metro) all in proximity, making the journey to and from work easy.

What you'll be doing

  • Design campaign creative for different local businesses in response to artwork briefs received
  • Manage projects and tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quick turnaround
  • Manage administrative 'traffic' of artwork requests via workflow and process management tools (e.g. )
  • Liaise with members of the wider Claude Group team to ensure artwork requests are responded to in a timely fashion
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and explore design possibilities when necessary

Qualifications

  • Certification or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Premiere Pro or After Effects desirable.

  • Excellent design skills with a keen eye for typography, colour, and layout

  • Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for staying up to date with design trends and industry best practices
  • Professional, personable and supportive with the ability to build rapport with clients, stakeholders and team members
  • Experience working with is highly advantageous
