Queensland Treasury Corporation (QTC) is seeking a Senior Associate, Solution Architect to help shape and deliver innovative technology solutions that align with our strategic goals.

This role is ideal for a generalist solution designer with a strong focus on SaaS, cloud-based platforms, integration, and AI-augmented services.

You'll work closely with business and technology stakeholders to develop high-level solution designs, contribute to technology and AI roadmaps, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual and high-level solution designs that balance business needs, technical feasibility, and cost.
  • Contribute to the development of technology strategies and roadmaps.
  • Support the Architecture Review Board and maintain architecture frameworks and standards.
  • Evaluate partner proposals and ensure alignment with QTC's architecture principles.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to project teams.
  • Maintain oversight of QTC's technology and security landscape, identifying opportunities for improvement.

About You

You are a collaborative and strategic thinker with a passion for technology and innovation. You bring:

  • 5+ years' experience in solution architecture across complex environments, particularly with the Microsoft technology stack.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, and integration solutions.
  • Experience contributing to technology and AI roadmaps.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certifications in Azure or AWS Architecture, TOGAF, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics, or other low-code platforms.
  • Exposure to financial services or government environments is a plus.
