A dynamic, fast-paced architectural design group based in Brisbane, specialising in commercial architecture across sectors including shopping centres, childcare, large industrial, fast food, taverns, self-storage, and multi-residential developments.

Your new role

As a Senior Architectural Technician / Designer you will be responsible for preparing fully detailed construction documentation, an autonomous role which suits someone who thrives in the backend of projects and can confidently coordinate consultant inputs into architectural drawing sets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality construction drawings and detailing (joints, materials, assemblies)
  • Coordinate consultant designs and integrate them into architectural documentation
  • Identify and resolve non-compliance issues related to AS1428, NCC, and BCA regulations
  • Support project leaders by taking ownership of documentation packages
  • Work across a variety of project types including retail, childcare, and industrial

What you'll need to succeed

  • Must have 5+ years in a similar autonomous role within a Design Studio or D&C
  • Expertise in construction drawing packages
  • Strong understanding of Australian construction methods and standards; AS1428, NCC, and BCA regulations
  • Proficiency in Revit and construction detailing
  • Ability to work independently and manage documentation workflows
  • Experience in coordinating with consultants and contractors
  • Must be living in Australia - Must have full Australian working rights
