Here at Linear Clinical Research, we are a not-for-profit organisation that conducts world-leading clinical trials across a wide range of therapeutic areas including Oncology and Haematology at our Advanced Clinical Trial Centre based in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
Our Data Support team plays a crucial role in the overall success of our trials and is responsible for ensuring all clinical data captured during the trials is accurate, in line with study requirements and reported clearly. We are now looking for a Data Support Assistant to join the team on a full-time basis.
Your Role in Our Future
As a Data Support Assistant, your role will be to work with high volume clinical data in a transactional way to ensure the accurate and timely submission of clinical trial data across different systems. With a strong eye for detail, you will also be required to identify potential data deviations and work collaboratively with clinic and compliance teams to effectively resolve data queries.
You won't be analysing data, carrying out any formatting or programming work in this role. Instead, your time will be spent;
- Entering and processing high volume patient and clinical data whilst maintaining accuracy and high attention to detail.
- Liaising with various teams across the organisation to investigate and resolve data queries in a timely manner.
- Participating in the review of database setup for new studies to ensure alignment with protocol requirements and data collection needs.
- Collection of patient data from medical notes and completion of case record forms.
- Supporting data quality activities by participating in data entry audits and responding to audit findings.
This role will be based at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and be offered on a full-time basis.
Your Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for data entry and producing high quality and accurate work ideally with previous experience working with clinical/patient data. You must also be able to demonstrate;
- Previous experience with high volume data entry requirements with excellent attention to detail.
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills including a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritise workload and coordinate multiple tasks.
- The ability to be self-motivated and able to work both autonomously as well as an effective team member.
- Good written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with MS Office and data programs.
