Join the Integrated Workforce Management Program as a Principal Project Officer, where you will lead and provide specialist expertise to enable the successful delivery of large scale, complex Information Management (IM) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) program/projects.

As a Principal Project Officer, you will be responsible for writing executive-level program and governance documentation to the exacting standards of the program. Applying excellent knowledge and experience of PRINCE2 methodology you will lead the management of risks, issues and lessons learned, inform product-based planning, conduct impact assessments and develop documentation in accordance with established change control processes and manage specialised work packages. You will support project managers to ensure products are managed in accordance with best practice guidelines and ensure adherence of quality and control processes across the program to enable the achievement of consistent, high-quality program outcomes. In the role you will also manage, monitor, and report on program related trends and performance against program plans and schedules.

Role fit:


•Demonstrated experience in a large scale, complex project environment, including product-based planning, risk management, reporting and project closure, and an ability to analyse, plan and manage specialised work packages.

•    High level knowledge and application of appropriate project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2), and an ability to provide expert advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques, planning methodologies and  scheduling tools within projects and Project Management Offices.

•    Demonstrated excellent writing skills and outstanding verbal communication skills to produce succinct executive briefs, manage stakeholder groups to achieve a positive outcome, synthesise information to facilitate decision-making processes, and adhere to program strategies and processes to lead quality within the Program Management Office and across the program.
