Join a High-Profile Victorian Government Department

We're currently seeking an experienced Architectural Drafts person to join a key Victorian Government department on an exciting 3-6 month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful public sector projects that positively impact the Victorian community with a potential of going perm.

You'll be part of a collaborative team, working closely with internal government stakeholders and external consultants to produce high-quality architectural documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate architectural drawings and plans using AutoCAD, in line with applicable standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet project deliverables.
  • Create detailed drafts and update drawings based on feedback and design development.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with relevant regulations, policies, and government standards.
  • Participate in project meetings and attend site visits as required.
  • Assist with project coordination to help ensure timely delivery.
About You:
  • Proven experience in architectural drafting, with strong skills in AutoCAD.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality architectural documentation and design drawings.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience working on government or public sector projects will be highly regarded.
  • Must have full Australian working rights and the ability to attend the Melbourne CBD office a few times per week.
