The Practice:

Our client is a respected mid-sized architectural practice located in the inner suburbs. They have a diverse range of projects comprising Multi-Residential, Commercial buildings, and Infrastructure developments. Their culture is driven by achieving quality design outcomes, combined with the highest level of care and respect for their clients.

The Opportunity:

The practice currently seeks an experienced Architect to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role is ideally suited for a professional with 5-8 years of post-graduate experience who is looking for a high degree of responsibility and project ownership.

The practice has a proven track record of upskilling staff, and as such, long-term prospects exist to progress into senior and leadership roles within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate significant experience and confidence to:

  • Lead and manage contributions across all project phases, from concept design and detailed feasibility through to construction documentation and contract administration.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative, practical, and fully resolved design solutions.
  • Engage proactively with team leaders and stakeholders to ensure project requirements and objectives are met consistently.
  • Champion BIM tools, particularly Autodesk Revit, for efficient, high-quality project documentation and delivery standards.

Skills Required:

  • A Registered Architect with a minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience (or equivalent demonstrated expertise).
  • Expert proficiency in Revit and BIM360 is essential.
  • Strong design and advanced technical detailing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration abilities suitable for engaging with clients and consultants.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement, capable of working with minimal supervision.
