Now Hiring: Security Architect – Melbourne | Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Security Architect to join a leading financial services organisation in Melbourne. This is a permanent role offering a base salary of $170,000, plus benefits.

In this role, you'll play a key part in strengthening cyber security capabilities, with a focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). You'll design and implement security solutions, build strategic roadmaps, and ensure security is embedded across the enterprise.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the design and implementation of IAM and DLP solutions.
  • Develop and maintain security frameworks, standards, and roadmaps.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to integrate security into solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and APRA CPS 234.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and mentor delivery teams.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Security Architect or senior security engineer.
  • Strong hands-on experience with IAM platforms (Okta, Azure AD, Ping, SailPoint).
  • Practical knowledge of DLP solutions (Symantec, Forcepoint, Microsoft Purview).
  • Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
