Join Sunwater as Strategic Asset Management Lead where you'll play a vital role supporting the Head of Asset Strategy and Systems to drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Asset Management System (AMS). This pivotal role will ensure our asset management practices align with ISO 55000 standards and support the organisation's strategic objectives.
As Strategic Asset Management Lead at Sunwater, you will:
- Establish, manage and monitor the asset management system and its performance in achieving the Asset Management Objectives (including the Strategic Asset Management Plan and Asset Management Policy)
- Set the policies, procedures and guidelines for the effective asset management system, including change management
- Define and review asset management Standards and guidelines that control asset management activity
- Define asset management governance requirements, including the asset management RACI and authorities and approvals processes relating to asset management decision-making
- Define metrics, gather data and report on the performance of the asset management system in achieving the Asset Management Objectives
We are seeking a talented individual with a minimum of 7+ years' experience in a strategic asset management leadership position with a deep understanding of asset management systems in an infrastructure, asset rich or heavy industry environment. You will hold tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related discipline.
You will also bring:
- Deep understanding in the interpretation and application of ISO55001 and preferably certifications related to ISO 9001 &/or 55001 standards, such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified ISO 9001 &/or 55001 Lead Implementer
- Proven experience leading a team of technical writers to assess conformance of, update and where required rationalise documents within the Asset Management System
- Excellent communication skills with a knack for writing and presenting quality reports and findings to senior leadership, including the Board and executive leadership team
