With more than 100 years' experience, The REIQ has been the state's peak professional association for the real estate profession since 1918. Today, we represent approximately 4,000 individual members, around 1,400 agency offices, and more than 15,000 property professionals.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Officer to join our team in our head office based in Brisbane on a part-time basis.

The role will be 8:30am to 5:00pm, two days a week. The REIQ is flexible on which two days the role can be performed.

About the role:

  • Reporting to the Membership and Customer Relationship Manager, you are the first point of contact for all incoming enquiries received via phone and email. You provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all enquiries are effectively resolved in a timely manner. To support the smooth operations of the business, you also assist in data management and outbound call initiatives.
  • So that you can best support our members, you will work closely with each department to gain and maintain a deep understanding of each service area.

Your day may include:

  • Data maintenance and record keeping, including data cleansing activities
  • Efficiently responding to customer enquiries, including members, students and consumers and take appropriate actions as required
  • Undertake outbound call activities to assist in data cleansing and remedial actions required
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Working with each REIQ department to maintain a strong understanding of products and services

Our ideal new addition will have:

  • Customer Service Experience
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and identify customer needs and communicate accordingly
  • Competent with Microsoft Office suite of products and CRM systems
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • Experience in real estate industry would be highly regarded.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
