We currently have an opportunity for an Operations Manager. Join our Health and Education team and play a key role in ensuring the efficient delivery of essential maintenance services and lifecycle planning, directly supporting the safety, functionality, and long-term sustainability of the facility. Reporting to Contract Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Oversee the operational and financial performance of core service areas including mechanical, building, electrical, grounds and gardens, and asset lifecycle maintenance.
  • Ensure all maintenance and service delivery aligns with contract requirements, legislative compliance, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Manage and coordinate asset lifecycle planning, including the delivery of minor works, modifications, and long-term maintenance strategies.
  • Lead the efficient execution of technical services across multiple disciplines such as HVAC, fire systems, power systems, infrastructure, and pest control.
  • Deliver high-quality, timely outcomes to clients and facility users while maintaining a focus on safety, compliance, and service excellence.

What You'll Bring

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and/or Mechanical Maintenance management or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in a similar role in the building/services industry at a managerial level
  • Proven leadership and management of a multi-skilled workforce.
  • Experience in analysing improvement opportunities and the ability to develop sound, commercially based business cases.
  • Strong verbal and written communications and leadership and problem-solving skills.
