About the role: Our client is seeking to appoint an Operations Manager who will support the CEO to develop, manage and oversee multiple employment programs and drive performance whilst ensuring contractual obligations are being met.

The new Operations Manager will assist in developing the strategic business plan for the programs within their portfolio, and ensure the organisation’s operational and financial objectives are achieved in accordance with the business plan.

This position will be based in SE Queensland - Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast or Darling Downs with interstate travel when necessary. The remuneration package is competitive but commensurate to skills and experience.

**Duties**
- Manage daily operational needs of the organisation, including direction of staff and resources to achieve operational objectives
- Manage, monitor and analyse data on key performance indicators for the programs in the portfolio, and implementing actions when necessary
- Implement and report on mechanisms to ensure compliance with the contracts, organisation procedural processes and statutory obligations
- Develop networks and relationships with potential employers, community organisations and government agencies
- Seek opportunities for business growth and development.

**To be successful you will have**:

- An understanding and operational experience of Employment Services contracts and the interpretation of such contracts
- A track record of successful leadership and financial sustainability in a values-driven, multi-disciplinary organisation
- Proven success in developing and implementing systems and processes to improve performance and to identify and rectify any problems with performance
- Proven skills and success in identifying business development opportunities and developing effective and productive partnerships with a range of stakeholders
- Experience of performance management and maintaining performance of revenue streams
- The ability to lead by example and inspire, encourage and motivate others
- Ideally a related tertiary qualification in Business, Management or a relevant field
- The ability to pass both a Federal Police Check and a Working with Children Check
