If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you to join our team as a Front Office Attendant at our exclusive luxury retreat at Spicers Hidden Vale in the breathtaking landscapes of south-east Queensland.
About Spicers Hidden Vale
From the moment you turn into the driveway it is hard to believe that such a place could exist so close to a major city. Just an hour's drive from the Brisbane CBD, Spicers Hidden Vale is a destination that invites relaxation and rejuvenation.
Set on 12,000 acres, the retreat features an Australian barn, beautifully restored colonial cottages from a bygone era and a warm country welcome. There is space to relax, space to listen, and space to embark on an adventure amidst abundant wildlife. With a number of different indoor and outdoor spaces to explore, Spicers Hidden Vale is a unique luxury Australian experience.
Role and key duties
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a seamless check-in and departure experience;
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally;
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing accurately and efficiently;
- Place pre-arrival phone calls and answer phone queries;
- Surprise and delight our guests by offering the famous Spicers experience;
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
Criteria required to be considered
- Prior experience as a receptionist, GSA or front office attendant from a Hotel environment (essential);
- An affinity for numbers and administration;
- Prior experience with PMS and end of day reconciliation;
- A talent for customer service with a vibrant and outgoing nature;
- Passion for creating memorable moments for our guests;
- Located close to our retreat or be willing to relocate, and have reliable transport (essential);
- Willingness to work weekends and evenings as required.
