As part of our Front Office leadership team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of the department, supporting our Guest Service Agents, and upholding our service culture that makes Dorsett a destination of choice.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a motivated Front Office Supervisor who is passionate about guest service and team leadership. You'll be the go-to person for our Front Office team, assisting with daily operations, guest enquiries, and ensuring every shift runs seamlessly. With a focus on training, mentoring, and empowering your team, you'll help us deliver service that goes above and beyond expectations.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Supporting the Duty Manager in overseeing daily Front Office operations
  • Leading, motivating, and guiding Guest Service Agents to deliver five-star service
  • Assisting with guest enquiries and resolving complaints with professionalism
  • Monitoring guest accounts, payments, and ensuring end-of-shift balancing
  • Maintaining accurate communication and handovers between shifts
  • Promoting and implementing guest service standards and departmental procedures
  • Creating a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a four- or five-star property
  • Proven ability to supervise or lead a front-of-house team
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of OPERA Cloud (preferred, but not essential)
  • High standard of personal presentation and professionalism
  • A positive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work a flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays
