About the opportunity:
The Estimator is part of the Arden Built team and reports to the Spec Home Manager. The key focus of this role is to provide timely, accurate and well-considered estimation of building materials and labour requirements for efficient, coordinated and cost-effective construction for Spec homes. More specifically, you will:

• Accurately estimate project quantities and prepare purchase orders to support supervisors

• Liaise with suppliers, contractors and construction supervisors to ensure smooth project delivery

• Maintain accurate system notes, files, and documentation to keep projects on track

• Ensure best practices whilst managing the site -start process efficiently

• Meet deadlines to contribute to the timely maintenance of building scheduled and project timelines 

About you:
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will:

• Demonstrated experience working with an Australian home builder in Sales and Production Estimating 

• Strong communicator, collaborator and able to work in a high performing environment

• Sound knowledge of building and construction including Australian Construction Standards, NCC, local council and developer requirements etc 

• Strong organization, deadline management and attention to detail

• Resilience and growth mindset, demonstrating initiative in workflow improvements and process 

• A formal qualification in building or a trade certificate is desirable
