About the opportunity:
The Draftsperson is part of the Arden Built team and reports to the Spec Home Manager. The key focus of this role is to provide high quality, accurate plans across the Arden Spec Homes products in a prompt and timely manner, meeting and exceeding deadlines to suit business needs. More specifically, you will:
- Coordinate and manage workflow dates, notes and files from sales acceptance through to completion
- Prepare accurate preliminary, contract, and final drawings with high levels of accuracy
- Production of working construction drawings including reviews and corrections
- Manage your own workflow effectively within requires business timeframes
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Problem solving construction and drafting related matters
About you:
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will:
- Demonstrated experience drafting in residential home construction
- Tertiary education in relevant field, including Bachelors, Diploma or Tafe certificate in design and drafting.
- Experience within relevant software application - ArchiCAD - essential
- Strong knowledge of current codes, regulations and construction practices
- A keen eye for detail, strong time management and innovative approach to solving problems
- Team focus, and strong communication skills to build solid relationships
- Resilience and growth mindset, demonstrating initiative in workflow improvements and process
