Service Leader – Early Childhood Education

About the Role

As Service Leader, you will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the centre, ensuring high-quality care and education for children, a supportive and inspiring environment for educators, and strong partnerships with families and the wider community. You will lead with integrity, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operations of the service
  • Build and maintain a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment
  • Mentor and support a team of passionate educators
  • Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and other regulatory requirements
  • Develop strong relationships with families and the local community
  • Oversee enrolments, budgets, and administrative functions
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in early childhood education

About You

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
  • Proven leadership experience in an early childhood setting
  • Strong knowledge relevant legislation
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative and empowering leadership style
  • Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certifications
