About the role:
CSR is seeking an experienced and driven Regional Inventory Manager to join our team and drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and strategic alignment across our supply chain. Based in Welshpool you will lead a team to drive a regional inventory strategy that aligns with CSR's principles to enhance stock optimisation and overall performance.
Some responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement a regional inventory strategy that aligns with CSR's principles to optimise stock levels and performance.
- Provide thought leadership and foster alignment with strategic, operational, financial, and customer-centric outcomes across state branches and centres.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing multi-disciplinary team, ensuring collaboration and the adoption of best-in-class processes and techniques.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve logistical challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement in state inventory practices to enhance CSR's competitive edge.
- Monitor and report on inventory performance, including KPI tracking, turnover, stock accuracy, and cost management.
- Champion safety by embedding a Zero Harm culture and ensuring compliance with WHSE standards.
What you bring to the role
You are a results-driven professional with a passion for supply chain optimisation and team leadership. To succeed in this role, you'll need:

- Leadership: Proven experience in building high-performing teams, including recruitment, coaching, and performance management.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to formulate strategies that drive commercial value and supplier efficiency.
- Regional Expertise: Familiarity with state-specific regulations, supplier networks, and logistics.
- Lean Principles: Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies (e.g., 5S) and a history of driving continuous improvement.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and warehouse management software for forecasting and trend identification.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Collaboration: A collaborative mindset to work cross-functionally and ensure seamless supply chain operations.
