The Role - Full-time based at our Epping Head Office.
At SCC, our Marketing Specialist is the storyteller behind our brand bringing our services, people, and values to life. This role shapes how residents, clients, families, and the wider community see, feel, and experience SCC. Through inspired campaigns, compelling content, and strategic communication, you'll help position SCC as a provider of choice one that leads with HEART and purpose.

Where You Fit and Who You'll Work WithAs part of our Marketing and Communications team, you'll report to the Marketing and Communications Manager for Services and collaborate closely with the Media and Public Relations Manager. You'll work hand-in-hand with teams across Residential Services, Home Care, Retirement Living, People and Culture, and Engagement and Purposeful Living ensuring every story we tell reflects the heart of who we are.
You'll also connect with a wide network of stakeholders from the CEO and Executive team to Regional Managers, Village Liaison Officers, and volunteers. Beyond SCC, you'll build meaningful partnerships with residents, clients, families, local media, community groups, and agencies to bring creative ideas to life and deliver campaigns that make a difference.

Campaign Delivery and Content Creation
- Plan and deliver creative, insight-led campaigns across Residential Care, Home Care, and Retirement Living
- Craft compelling content across digital and traditional channels that connects with audiences and drives engagement
- Support recruitment and internal engagement initiatives with inspiring marketing materials
- Collaborate with agencies, designers, and suppliers to produce standout assets
- Track performance and share insights that shape future marketing decisions
- Provide forward-thinking recommendations to guide strategic priorities
- Bring SCC's online presence to life across our website, social channels, and intranet
- Lead day-to-day collaboration with our digital agency to ensure fresh, engaging content
- Manage and optimise paid digital advertising platforms
- Use analytics to refine and elevate our digital storytelling
- Partner with teams across SCC to uncover opportunities and local success stories worth sharing
- Identify and support community events and marketing opportunities that build brand connection
- Provide market intelligence on competitors, customer insights, and emerging trends
- Contribute to the planning and promotion of events that strengthen our community presence
- Champion innovation by finding smarter, more creative ways to market and communicate
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and audience needs
- Manage campaign budgets and uphold SCC's reputation and brand integrity
- Take ownership of results and accountability for delivery
- Ensure every marketing activity meets compliance, policy, and ethical standards

- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a marketing or communications role
- Experience in the aged care or not-for-profit sector (desirable)
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media trends
- Proven ability to plan, deliver, and measure effective campaigns
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and agency management
- Excellent writing and content development skills
- Experience with publishing and analytics platforms
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (desirable) and content editing tools (desirable)
- Ability to travel across NSW and ACT as needed
