Project Support Officer, Transport and Main Roads

Are you passionate about visual communication, process improvement, and supporting strategic asset management? The Transport System Asset Management Unit is seeking a dynamic team member to help lead investment planning, enhance asset management capability, and support the delivery of the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP). In this role, you'll create engaging visuals, support key reporting, maintain internal systems, and contribute to the smooth operation of a high-impact team.
In the role of Project Support Officer, you will:
• Create infographics, images and documents using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.)
• Provide support to the Senior Advisor (Transport System Asset Management) with updating the annual State of the Asset Report and other key reports.
• Develop and maintain templates and develop formal processes to document regular unit activities.
• Provide administrative support to the broader Transport System Asset Management team, including support developing training materials, scheduling and coordination of training, meetings and workshops, booking travel, ordering stationery and assisting with data validation tasks
• Proactively update and maintain the unit's internal SharePoint site, ensuring the accuracy of all information and improving the visual design
• Undertake delegated projects and activities to ensure key business outcomes are delivered.
To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
• Experience working with graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or similar, or the ability to learn the necessary skills
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders and to be an active member of the team.
• Experience providing administrative support and working with a variety of stakeholders
• Ability to provide support on multiple projects at any time, ensuring key deliverables are achieved in a timely manner.
