Banter Toys & Collectibles – Marketing Coordinator
Banter Toys & Collectibles are a leading distributor of licensed toys and collectibles in Australia and New Zealand. The Banter product range includes some of the leading brands in the world We pride ourselves in delivering play to the imaginative and are looking for our next member to join our passionate and expanding team.
This role is a support role within the Marketing Department reporting to the Head of Marketing. You will be a go-to person, providing assistance to the Marketing team with both regular, and adhoc tasks that serve the completion of our Marketing campaigns.
A high level of attention to detail, organisation, and excellent communication skills are required.
Key Responsibilities
· Under the guidance of the Head of Marketing, support the daily Marketing Department activities. Includes adhoc support of Marketing Campaigns across all channels.
· Ownership & management of Banter Toys website including but not limited to uploading products, sourcing or creating copy, sourcing imagery, new account set up, and general maintenance.
· Ownership & management of mass retailer e-commerce channels, ensuring product info accuracy and optimized content. This includes creating or modifying product copy, ensuring SEO best practices.
· Manage and respond to and email accounts.
· Support department with Social Media activities including ad implementation, post scheduling, and influencer campaign support.
· Diverse and detailed product knowledge of our Trading Cards, Collectibles, and Toys ranges.
· Support department in crafting presentations/sales decks for distribution to Sales team and Retailers, effectively highlighting key sales features of products.
· Weekly administrative tasks including checking and saving catalogue images, collecting imagery of marketing examples, saving files provided by Sales & Marketing teams, etc.
· Management of all image content including Asset Dropboxes, retail photos, product images, retail requests, and catalogue content.
· Adhoc assistance with photography and basic photo editing
· Assistance with Tradeshows and Events including sample management, creation of sales lists, on-site set up, and during-show support. Attendance at Australian Toy Hobby & Licensing Fair and setup is mandatory.
· Adhoc assistance to Department where business needs require.
Skills & Experience:
· Ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications and 2+ years in a Marketing role.
· High level of computer literacy, using MS Office Suite, SAP, plus additional software.
· High level of social media literacy, with ability to use Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, and YouTube Studio.
· Ideal candidate has experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and is able to perform basic tasks such as image cropping.
· Ideal candidate has experience with SEO, SEM, and Google AdWords and Analytics.
· Ideal candidate is a fellow collector or passionate about any of our brands

· Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to take responsibility and complete tasks accurately and promptly. With the support of the Marketing Department, you are motivated to take the ball and run with it
· The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with third parties and stakeholders.
· It wouldn't be a marketing department without an ability to think creatively, while maintaining strong attention to detail.
