We are an established Italian restaurant dedicated to serving authentic, high-quality cuisine with a warm dining experience. We are currently looking for a passionate and skilled Chef / Cook to join our kitchen team.

Position: Chef / Cook

Location: Fannie bay NT

Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time /Casual(to be discussed)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes including pasta, risotto, pizza, and mains.
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet restaurant standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan menus and specials.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist in ordering supplies, and minimise waste.
  • Supervise and support kitchen staff as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Chef or Cook, ideally in an Italian restaurant or similar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, techniques, and ingredients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Food safety and hygiene knowledge.
  • Team player with strong communication and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
