AIFS, one of the world's leading providers of cultural exchange programs, is on the hunt for a Recruitment & Support Coordinator to join our inbound Au Pair in Australia team.

AIFS brings young international Working Holiday Makers to Australia, matching them with welcoming host families. Our Au Pairs live with their family, help care for their children, and immerse themselves in Australian life for 6–12 months.



You'll be the first point of contact for both Host Families, guiding them through the process from enquiry to successful placement.

What you'll be doing:

‍No two days will ever be the same One moment you'll be reassuring a homesick Au Pair, the next you'll be helping a new family find their perfect match. You will assist in the recruitment, sales, support, and administration of ourAu Pair placementservices.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to enquiries, and reviewing new and returning family applications
  • Maintaining customer data
  • Responding to enquiries, liaising with Au Pairs and host families by phone, email, and in person
  • Working closely with a small, passionate team
  • Supporting our families and Au Pairs to find their perfect placement.
  • Supporting families and Au Pairs throughout their placements

What we're looking for:

‍You will approach your job with a positive, solution-based mindset. Prior experience in a customer-facing role is preferred - you may also be a former Au Pair, or come from a childcare background. To support our clients, you will have experience caring for children and understand the rewards (and challenges) that come with it.

We are seeking:
- Excellent communication skills – Fluent written and spoken English is required
- prior customer service experience
- Strong time management skills – you will be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment  fluent spoken and written English
- Excellent Microsoft Office and data entry skills (Word, Excel, prior use of a CRM system)
- have a good knowledge of Australian states and territories
- Fluency in one of the following languages will be highly valued but is not a requirment of the position: German, French, Spanish, Italian, Mandarin or Japanese.

This position is a diverse and rewarding role and is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of small team.

We are a family friendly workplace and we encourage mums and dads returning to the workplace to apply. This position will be based 4 days in AIFS' Centre (near Hyde Park) and one day working from home.

IMPORTANT:

AIFS is a Child Wise accredited company. This role will be offered subject to a clear Police Check and Working with Children Check. You will be required to complete child protection and safeguarding training as part of your AIFS induction.
